Prior to working with New Technology Foundation, “Sharon Oldham ‘coached’ first year high school principals in the San Francisco bay area using her experience as a high school administrator and teacher in innovative educational settings. Prior to coaching, Sharon was the Executive Director of BaySCAN, a non-profit organization that provided networking and resources to high schools engaged with employer organizations in pursuit of improved student achievement and increased post secondary opportunities.

Sharon taught high school mathematics and computer science for 18 years and worked in administration and curriculum at the local and county level for an additional 9 more years. She has presented at local, state and national conferences on school change and the need for challenging curriculum and relevant learning opportunities that truly engage students.

Sharon holds a Master's degree in Counseling from San Jose State University and a degree in School Administration from California State University East Bay, Hayward, California.
