Megan Pacheco
Senior School Development Coach
mpacheco@newtechfoundation.org

Megan began her teaching career at Napa's New Technology High School after graduating from Cal Poly in 1999. As she finished her education, she was excited to have the opportunity to teach math at such a progressive and innovative school.

As one of the teachers at the school in its early years, Megan played a key role in helping establish the collaborative spirit of the school. She also co-developed an integrated math/science course called Scientific Studies and was among the first teachers to implement PBL in math. In addition, Megan was the mentor teacher at the school.

After working for four years as one of the Network's most successful PBL teachers, Megan has moved to the Foundation where she shares her experience and expertise with other teachers in the Network. She has always been an advocate for improving education through rigorous and relevant curiculum and has successfully planned an implemented several successful teacher training sessions including an intensive math workshop with teachers throughout the New TechnologyT Network.

As a coach for several schools in the network, Megan is a true advocate for student success and is very passionate about the need for authentic learning opportunities for all students.
