Hillside New Tech High School's mission is to create a 21st century learning environment that will ensure that every student achieves at high levels as measured by local, state, and national standards and be prepared for any post-secondary endeavor. The school commits to developing a comprehensive system of support to attain this outcome.

For the 2007-2008 school year, Hillside New Tech has enrolled 100 9th graders.

New Tech will enroll another 100 students each school year until the school reaches capacity at 400 students during the 2010-2011 school year.

Our student participate in a wide variety of extra-curricular activities including, but not limited to, band, dance, theater, ROTC, varsity and junior varsity sports, clubs, and many organizations outside of school including Shodor (shodor.org), SMASH science and math competitions, and many others.
