Manor New Technology High, a public school for 9th and 10th graders, opened in 2007. This project-based learning school will prepare students for the global society through the articulation of mathematics, science, and technology. The initiative will establish a personalized college and work ready culture that promotes increased post-secondary educational opportunities. Community involvement will be strengthened in order to create partnerships for programs and internship opportunities for students and teachers.

Key partners are the University of Texas : UTeach Program; University of Texas Cooperative Superintendency Program; University of Texas K-16 Distance Learning; ESC Region XII · Austin Community College; Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce; E3 Alliance; Skillpoint Alliance; New Technology High School Foundation; Texas High School Project; Project Lead the Way.
