New Technology High School Grade Nine and Grade Eleven Admission Information and Time Line Fall 2005

Napa, CA – New Technology High. Freshman Connect Days began on January 14, 2005, and will run every Friday through February 4, 2005. Dates remaining are January, 28th and February 4th, 2005. All freshman applicants are required to attend a Freshman Connect Day as part of the application process. Please call 707-259-8557 for more information on Freshman Connect Days.

Representatives from New Technology High School are scheduled to visit Napa High School on February 2nd and 3rd, 2005 and Vintage High School on February 2, 2005; as part of their recruiting efforts to fill the 100 junior seats available for the 2005-06 school year. Junior Connect Days are scheduled for February 10th 18th and 25th 2005. Attendance is required as part of the application process. Please call 707-259-8557 to register.

The remaining Parent Information Meeting for Freshman applicants is January 28th, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. in the cafegymatorium. Parent Information Meetings for the Junior applicants are scheduled for February 8th, , 16th, and 23rd, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. Meetings will be held in the cafegymatorium. Parents of incoming Freshman and Junior applicants are required to attend one parent information meeting as part of the application process.

If enrollment reaches more than 100 ninth grade students by Monday, February 7, 2005, NTHS will hold a lottery on Wednesday, February 9, 2005 to determine the Freshman Class. If enrollment reaches more than 100 eleventh grade students by Monday, February 28, 2005, a lottery will be held on Monday, March 7, 2005 to determine the Junior class. All students not selected in the lottery will be put on the NTHS waiting list.

Parents and/or students may tour New Technology High School on various Wednesdays at 10:30 am and/or 4:00 p.m. Please call 707-253-6951 to reserve a spot. These tours are not required for admission and do not replace parent information night. Tours are open to the all members of the community.

Students who wish to experience a small school environment focused on exploring and developing their own potential in a unique and award winning environment are asked to contact the school at 707-259-8557. The school is located at 920 Yount Street in Napa.
